Co-creating with God

Father Gilles LeBlanc tells the story of his life, his art, and his priesthood. He was the Spiritual Director of the Sacred Arts Guild of Alberta until his death in 2023.

Art: A Journey to Faith (Dr. Mark Charleton)

Before the Sacred Arts Guild of Alberta came into existence in 2017, Dr. Mark Charleton was teaching classes on the Sacred Arts at St. Mary’s University in Calgary. His retirement and the subsequent cancellation of the program became the catalyst for the founding of our Guild. This is his testimony of art and faith.

SAGA Exhibition at the Mary Festival

Several members of SAGA showed their art at the Mauro Gallery on St. Mary’s University campus on June 1st, 2024 as part of the Mary Festival. It was exciting to see so many artworks up at the same time. The Gallery was busy throughout the Festival, and hundreds of people enjoyed (and even bought some of!) the art.
